IN EVERYTHING YOU DO, BE GRATEFUL
Happy New Year! As we reflect back on the past year, everyone has a story to tell with mixed emotions. Going forward, a new year gives us another chance to set things right and to open up new chapters in our lives. But let’s remember, in all, gratitude is the key that opens doors to good fortunes. Every new year gives us an opportunity to be grateful for the successes and lessons learnt in the past 12 months – and we hope that you, too, can reflect and find your silver lining.
As a club, we are grateful for the achievements we have accomplished within the past quarter. Get to read about them and more as President Veronica recounts her 180 days in office. We are equally proud of our own member PAG Sam Mwangi being part of the team that embarked on District 9212 digital transformation that would see the District digitize its operations, learning content and revamp public relations campaigns as well as create an e-commerce platform.
We look forward to having a busy quarter. January is Vocational Service Month. Rotarians are encouraged to put in practice their skills and expertise to service delivery. February is Peace-building and Conflict Prevention Month. It’s all about making positive changes that last through dialogue to repair relationships as well as reform institutions. March is Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Month. Here, Rotarians engage in sustainable projects for a better and healthier community through the supply of clean water and sanitation facilities to prevent the spread of water borne related diseases.
Life is an adventure that is full of beautiful destinations. Wishing you many wonderful memories made in 2022.
